Weishi supports rising golf star Zhan Jiahan to make good use of "vision" to challenge new milestones in professional competitions

Weishi Ophthalmology held a contract renewal ceremony with rising golf star Zhan Jiahan. The award was presented by Lin Youqi, the president of Renai Hospital of Weishi Ophthalmology, on behalf of the president. In addition to affirming Zhan Jiahan’s sports performance, it also symbolized Weishi’s support for young athletes who have achieved good results after completing myopia laser surgery. After watching “TV”, he continues to shine on the sports field and challenges new milestones in his career.

Zhan Jiahan completed SMART transPRK myopia laser surgery at the end of 2022, which solved his years of trouble on the court. Zhan Jiahan recalled that before the surgery, the high temperature in summer and heavy sweating caused him to often face vision problems during games, and he tried wearing glasses and contact lenses but could not solve it. Especially in strong sunlight where he must wear sunglasses, or when contact lenses dry out and blur his vision after a long game, these problems have seriously affected his performance.

However, after the operation, Zhan Jiahan was pleasantly surprised to find that his vision not only returned to a better state than expected, but also maintained a good visual acuity of 1.2 for more than a year after the operation. The improvement in visual field clarity also helped him become the ThreeBond Elite in 2023. Won the first professional championship in the challenge. He said: “After the surgery, my feelings on the court have changed significantly. Not only have the distant scenes become clearer, but I can also accurately track the trajectory and landing point of the ball, which was unimaginable before.”

President Lin Youqi mentioned that SMART transPRK surgery has become the first choice for many athletes to improve their vision due to its zero-contact and non-flap characteristics, and its ability to maintain the integrity and high stability of the cornea after surgery. The clinic also has many cases of athletes who, in addition to achieving good vision after surgery, also continue to perform well on the field.

Zhan Jiahan’s challenge for this year’s professional tournament will also begin in March. He revealed that his plan this year is to challenge the tour in Japan, and he also hopes to continue his previous winning momentum and continue to set new milestones in his career.
