Nutritionist Liu Yili also reminded the three high-income groups on the key points they should pay attention to during the New Year diet:
Diabetes: You need to pay attention to starch replacement and moderate intake. Do not eat rice cakes as snacks. The lotus seeds in sugar-fried chestnuts and lotus seed soup are all starches, so excessive intake should be avoided.
Hyperlipidemia: It is recommended to consume more green vegetables and consume them with every meal. Vegetables are rich in B complex and dietary fiber. If you don’t like vegetables, you can use mushrooms instead to help with fat metabolism.
High blood pressure: Avoid drinking soup, or eating too much high-sodium foods such as black vinegar, bean paste, chili sauce, and spicy oil.
